Get to Know a Crystal Daily | Kyanite

Welcome to Get to Know a Crystal Daily. In this series, we break down the basics of popular crystals—from their origins to their energy. Today, we’re starting with Kyanite.

Blue is the most common color of kyanite, but it also occurs in yellow, green, black, and orange. Kyanite is a fragile stone that often forms in blade-like shapes, making it an excellent worry stone to rub with your thumb. Kyanite never needs cleansing, as it does not hold onto energy—it simply facilitates energy flow. This is why kyanite is not known for absorbing or amplifying energy.
